WHITE COUNTY, Ill. (WFIE) - The White County, Illinois sheriff Jordan Weiss is warning those living in the area to keep a close eye on their recreational vehicles.

In an online post Weiss says over the past weeks several people have reported stolen ATVs, UTVs and lawn mowers throughout the county.

He says many of them were left with keys in the ignition, stored in unsecured buildings, or parked in open areas.

No arrests have been made, so the sheriff’s is urging everyone to take precaution.
