GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Action 2 News has learned the Green Bay East High School football coach placed on leave earlier this month will meet with school district leaders later this week.
Sources close to the investigation tell Action 2 News that district leadership is looking at allegations against Niko Sila, including that Sila provided transportation in a private vehicle to some East High School football players.
The district is also reportedly looking at text messages sent to players after he was put on leave that were described to us as “encouraging and positive.”
The Green Bay Area Public School District has not commented publicly on its investigation.
