Less than half of Americans approve of Latin pop star Bad Bunny serving as the entertainer during next year's Super Bowl halftime show, while the rest either disprove or are agnostic about his selection.

A new Quinnipiac poll released on Monday found 48 percent of respondents expressed support of Bad Bunny, while while 29 percent said they disapprove and 24 percent did not offer an opinion on the matter.

The poll fell sharply along partisan lines, with 74 percent of Democrats expressing approval and 63 percent of Republicans indicating they did not approve of the upcoming performance.
