A historic village has been recognised as one of the best places to live in Cambridgeshire by lifestyle magazine, Muddy Stilettos. The popular site, known for unveiling top places across the UK, has recently released its list of top places to live ahead of 2026.

Before this, they released the top 10 places to live as voted for by the public. This time the places have been decided using their insider knowledge.

Among the chosen destinations is Bourn, a pretty village known for having one of the oldest windmills in England. The windmill, dubbed as the oldest in the country, is designated as an Ancient Monument.
