The Los Angeles Rams have secured a trade that augments their secondary ahead of next month’s deadline, acquiring cornerback Roger McCreary from the Tennessee Titans.
The Titans are letting McCreary go the other way in exchange for a fifth-round pick and are also giving the Rams a sixth-round pick, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
“Titans CB Roger McCreary is being traded to the #Rams, some real help for one of the NFL’s top defenses,” Rapoport reported on Monday.
The Rams, who recently received some brutal news regarding wide receiver Puka Nacua, are getting a player with three career interceptions under his belt. One of those came in a loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 1.
Adding to the trio of INTs are 17 passes defended, a forced fumble, four sacks, and 253 tackles.
