EAST FLATBUSH, Brooklyn (WABC) -- A man suspected of randomly slashing three men on the subway over the weekend was arrested in connection to a burglary in Brooklyn.

Police say Odyssey Head, 27, broke into a building on New York Avenue around 5 a.m. Saturday, damaging the washer and dryer and setting fire to some items of clothing before running off.

Authorities say he is suspected in three slashings over 24 hours in Flatbush, although he has not been charged yet.

Officials say he had a kitchen knife in his possession at the time of his arrest, which is believed to be the slashing weapon.

All three men injured over the weekend were slashed on the left side of their faces .
