ROCHESTER, Minn. – An Owatonna man arrested after an undercover child sex sting in Rochester has been sentenced.
Michael Anthony Tuma, 37, has been ordered to spend 11 days in jail and five years on supervised probation. Tuma must also perform 100 hours of community work service.
Tuma pleaded guilty to engaging in electronic communication relating to or describing sexual conduct with a child.
Police say Tuma chatted online with someone he thought was a minor and arranged to meet for sex in Foster Arend Park. Tuma had really been messaging an investigator who was posing as a juvenile female.
