A UK airline is reportedly teetering on the brink of administration in what would prove to be a major blow for the British travel industry.

Eastern Airways , which provides services to Wick and Aberdeen, Humberside, Teeside International, London Gatwick, and Newquay, has lodged a notice of intention to appoint an administrator, reports Express.co.uk.

This action creates a temporary 10-day reprieve, preventing creditors from initiating legal proceedings against the company.
