LOS ANGELES — The Lakers’ already-lengthy injury report grew ahead of Monday night’s home game against the Portland Trail Blazers, which capped off a back-to-back set following Sunday’s road win over the Sacramento Kings .
In addition to the five players who were sidelined against the Kings ( Luka Doncic , LeBron James , Jaxson Hayes, Maxi Kleber and Adou Thiero), the Lakers listed Marcus Smart (right quad contusion) and Gabe Vincent (left ankle sprain) as out for Monday night.
Vincent wore a protective boot in the locker room after the win over the Kings, telling the Southern California News Group on Sunday night that his X-rays came back negative.
Smart was seen getting his right leg checked out by a team trainer late in Sunday’s win but closed out the game.
