The Porcupine Dante Club has a shiny new look which will carry the Italian cultural hotspot on Cedar Street into the next several decades.
Vice president Lousi Clausi told The Daily Press on Monday that everyone is very happy with the outcome.
“Yeah, we’re excited. Alana Loreto had come up with a concept, and a bit of a design. Our friends at Superior Construction really helped out with making that vision come to a reality,” he said.
“We like the look of it. Its sort of a classic look, with a modern twist. So we think it fits well into the neighbourhood.”
It features a sleek blend of dark wood and light brick cladding. Work began in July, just after their popular annual street festival, Festa Italiana, wrapped up. Everything was completed a few weeks ago.
