SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - Irish fans can rejoice — Notre Dame is back from its bye week and now has its sights set on Boston College.

This team has looked completely different since starting the season 0-2. Now, they have rattled off five straight wins.

But as head coach Marcus Freeman mentioned today, many people told him, “Enjoy the off week, enjoy the off week.”

His response? It wasn’t an off week — it was an “elevate week.”

This team has really hit its stride. Freeman noted that the team’s identity is exactly what he expects just like any other year: run the ball and stop the run.

After that big win over USC , it became clear just how much Jeremiyah Love and Jadarian Price contribute to the program, and how much the defense has improved over the past few games.
