EASTON, Conn. (WFSB) - An investigation is underway at Natchaug State Forest in Easton on Monday afternoon.

According to the CT Department of Energy & Environmental Protection, there is an ongoing search for a missing person in progress.

First responders are on scene as well as K9 resources.

The public is asked to avoid the area at this time.

No further details were released.
