NORTHFIELD, Vt. (WCAX) - Authorities now say one person died during a fire at a home in Northfield early Friday.

The Northfield Fire Department was called to 346 Water Street around 5 a.m. and found a camper trailer and a nearby home fully engulfed in flames.

Authorities say Robert Edson, 38, who lived in the camper, died.

Vermont State Police investigators determined the fire began inside the trailer and is not believed to be suspicious.
