Michael Buble is feeling “conflicted” over the fact that Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani uses one of his tracks as his walk-up music.
Buble’s cover of , by Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricusse, ushers Ohtani up to the plate every time he comes to bat at Dodgers Stadium.
During a segment of , Buble explained to fellow coaches Niall Horan, Reba McEntire and Snoop Dogg the significance of Ohtani using one of his songs.
“(He’s) the best ballplayer that ever lived,” Buble said . “And that’s his walk-up music.”
But Ohtani and the Dodgers are squaring off against the Toronto Blue Jays in this year’s World Series. The series is tied 1-1 and Ohtani’s theme music has left Buble in a bit of a quandary.
