MORRISTOWN, Tenn. — Residents in Morristown may be booing this Hallo-week, but not with the Halloween spirit.
The city announced that the 2025 Boofest has been canceled due to weather conditions. The festival was originally set for Thursday at 5:30 p.m. for Spooky Pass holders and 6:30 p.m. for the public. However, it said the event was canceled despite attempts to find an alternate location.
"We understand how much the community looks forward to this event, and we share in your disappointment," the city said.
Morristown said it was working on a solution to offer Spooky Pass refunds and will share details soon.
The city said it looks forward to bringing back the popular festival in 2026.
