MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Middle Point Landfill has been cited for seven environmental violations over the past year, according to the City of Murfreesboro.

The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation issued the most recent violation due to leachate entering dry run-off ditches on both sides of the landfill property.

“The complaints of odor have significantly increased in the past year. The portal is available at murfreesborotn.report/ for residents to submit complaints," the city shared.
