PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - Three men have been charged with attempted murder for an alleged attack that took place on a TriMet bus earlier this month, according to the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office.
Transit police were called to the scene of the attack shortly before 9 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 16, at the intersection of Southeast Stark Street and Southeast 142nd Avenue.
Court documents show that the incident began when the three suspects - identified as brothers 28-year-old Greffy Tom and 27-year-old Rinson (Terson) Tom, and 33-year-old Audric Yesiki - attempted to board the bus.
After the bus driver told the men - one of whom was smoking and another who appeared intoxicated - that they could not smoke on the bus, the men deliberated in the entryway, causing a a delay.
