Owners of a vet clinic at the centre of a 47-page dossier about its treatment of fostered greyhounds say they "strongly dispute" the suggestion of wrongdoing, while the vet regulator has confirmed it's investigating the claims.

Last week, the ABC reported on documents tabled in state parliament by crossbencher Tammy Franks, in which adoption workers claimed Greyhound Racing SA (GRSA) ignored complaints about allegedly substandard care at Angle Park Vet Clinic.

The allegations include that several dogs were sent home with open wounds and another was accidentally operated on for de-sexing during a routine dental check.
