MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. -- The Michigan City Police Department reports officers responded to the scene of a death investigation around 3:14 p.m., Monday, in the 700 block or S.R. 212.

Police say one person was found dead.

The investigation is ongoing.

MCPD's Investigative Division, along with the La Porte County Coroner's Office, was also summoned to the scene.
