MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. -- Family and friends are remembering Eddie Nixon as a man whose love for music and community touched many lives.
Nixon, who was set to celebrate his 68th birthday this week, was stabbed to death along with his fiancée, 66-year-old Sylvia White, during the early morning hours of Oct. 19. Police arrested a juvenile suspect — believed to be White’s foster child — but Nixon’s family says they have yet to receive updates from investigators or see official charges filed.
