Video exclusively shared with NBC10 shows Good Samaritans in South Jersey rushing to put out a car fire where a man was still trapped inside following a crash with a Jitney bus on Saturday evening.

Dispatchers began receiving frantic 911 calls at around 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, for a report of a crash on Route 9 in Middle Township in Cape May County .

“It happened so quick. There was no time for me to do anything," said Gus Gusis, the bus' driver.

Gusis said he was driving 10 people back from a winery tour when a white Nissan Versa slammed into his bus.
