BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Happy Halloween! Spooky season is a time to get creative with your baking! These witches’ cauldrons are simply chocolate cookies with vanilla buttercream, but perfect for your Halloween parties!
Ingredients
1 box Devil’s Food cake mix
2 large eggs
1/2 cup canola or vegetable oil
Black food coloring (optional)
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
3 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
1-3 tablespoons milk
green food coloring
Halloween-themed sprinkles (think eyeballs, bones, or spiders!)
Pretzel sticks
Directions
Combine cake mix, eggs, and oil to form a sticky dough.
Grease a mini cupcake tin and add a tablespoon of dough to each. Flatten the dough.
Bake for 8 minutes at 350.
Once removed from the oven, use a spoon
