GLENWOOD — A fourth-quarter surge lifted Thief River Falls past Minnewaska Area football on Saturday, Oct. 25

The sixth-seeded Prowlers pulled off a 28-21 upset victory over the No. 2-seeded Lakers in the Section 8AAA semifinals. Thief River Falls has now had three of its last four games decided by a single score dating back to Oct. 10, posting a 2-1 in that span.
