Minnesota guard Anthony Edwards will miss at least a week of the NBA season with a strained right hamstring suffered in a victory over Indiana, the Timberwolves announced on Monday.
Edwards played only three minutes and scored just five points against the winless Pacers on Sunday in Minnesota's 114-110 home triumph.
He was removed from the game and did not return due to right hamstring tightness.
An MRI exam on Monday at the Mayo Clinic showed the full extent of the injury.
Edwards will be re-evaluated in one week, meaning he will miss Minnesota's games at home Monday against Denver and Wednesday against the Los Angeles Lakers as well as Saturday at Charlotte.
The T-Wolves are off to a 2-1 start to the 2025-26 campaign.
