TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Three-year-old Scarlett Graham just celebrated her third birthday, and the third anniversary of having her life saved by a stranger.
At just 10 days old, Scarlett stopped breathing while at dinner with her family.
"My husband looks over, and is like is she ok?" said Leanna Graham, Scarlett's mother. "Doesn't she look blue? And I was looking like maybe it was the lighting in the restaurant? I'm like no, I think she's good and he's like Scarlett? He tapped her like this and she wasn't responding at all.
They screamed for a doctor or nurse, but no luck.
However, another mom in the restaurant, Kourtney Newby, was CPR-certified, and she was able to revive Scarlett until help could arrive.
