WACO, Texas (KWTX) - A Waco police officer pulled over a driver who failed to make a left turn on a lane designated solely for left turns and learned the driver was not only in the country illegally, but also carrying fake resident alien and social security cards, in addition to a bogus driver’s license, an arrest warrant alleges.

Homero Blas-Espinoza, 23, is charged with five counts of tampering with government records.

A police officer spotted Blas-Espinoza at the intersection of N. 34th Street and Bosque Boulevard at about 11:50 p.m. on Oct. 22.

The officer pulled up behind Blas-Espinoza’s vehicle in a left turn only lane, and as the green light came on, Blas-Espinoza failed to turn left and instead continued straight through the intersection heading north on N. 34th Street.
