Tom Felton, the English actor who portrayed Draco Malfoy in all eight Harry Potter films, is now returning to the role in the Broadway production of “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child,” beginning Nov. 11.

Many may recall that Felton was originally brought in to audition for the roles of Harry Potter and Ron Weasley before being cast as Malfoy.

Felton is the first original film actor to join the stage play, and his limited 26-week run will last through May 10, 2026 in Manhattan’s Lyric Theater.

The role comes 15 years after he last portrayed Harry Potter’s rival, mlive.com reported.

This is Felton’s Broadway debut.
