PEKIN, Ill. (WMBD) -- For the past six weeks, one local business has been doing its part to provide for animals in need with essential supplies.

Two Men and a Truck has partnered with the Tazewell Animal Protective Society once again to donate much-needed pet supplies to the non-profit animal shelter.

The inspiration for this initiative, called Movers for Mutts, came all the way back in 2017 when Peoria Two Men and a Truck franchise owner, Jen Christensen adopted her dog April.

"As a local pet owner and a local business owner, it means a lot to me to donate back to TAPS," Christensen said. "And we hope that there are other people in the community who can benefit from this great organization."
