The nationally ranked University of San Diego men’s soccer and women’s volleyball teams continued their midseason winning streaks last week, while Point Loma Nazarene sent three of its teams to Hawaii last week and returned with a 4-1-1 record.

The 12th-ranked USD soccer team defeated Seattle 3-0 at home and scored a 1-0 win at Saint Mary’s on a late own goal to run its record to 10-2-3 overall and 4-1-1 in West Coast Conference play. Goalkeeper Lucca Adams made a total of seven saves in back-to-back shutouts.
