Anyone 30 or older will most likely smile when they hear the term "Ice Capades." It was a touring show that played in major arenas and featured dozens of talented figure skaters performing well-choreographed routines on a frozen rink.
The Ice Capades ran from 1940 until 1995. In addition to themed productions that frequently featured beloved childhood characters like Cinderella, the Flintstones and Barbie, fans got to see some of the best figure skaters in the world, including Olympic medalists Kristi Yamaguchi, Dorothy Hamill, Robin Cousins, Dick Button and Scott Hamilton.
