GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - New numbers from Governor Tony Evers on Monday show the projected cost increase for Wisconsinites who get health insurance through the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

Many could pay significantly more if Congress doesn’t extend premium subsidies passed during the pandemic.

It’s a primary issue for democrats who refuse to support measures to end the shutdown that do not include an extension.

These latest numbers come from the state Office of the Commissioner of Insurance and highlight rates that double, heading into next year.
