SALUDA COUNTY, S.C. (WJBF) - A Saluda woman died after a two-vehicle collision Monday, according to the Saluda County Coroner's Office.

Authorities state the crash occurred on U.S. Highway 178 near Prater Road in Saluda County on Oct. 27, as a 2005 Honda Accord traveling west on the highway collided with a 2022 Chevrolet Traverse traveling east. Both vehicles had a driver and a passenger.

The passenger of the Traverse, identified as 76-year-old Shirley Fincher, was pronounced deceased at the scene after sustaining fatal injuries in the crash.

The drivers and the other passenger were transported to local hospitals to be treated for their injuries.
