ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A jury found two men guilty on Monday for their part in a robbery that escalated into a kidnapping and finally into a murder. In December 2020, police responded to a home near 8th Street and Menaul Boulevard, where the homeowner, 33-year-old Antonio Jaramillo, was found tied up and shot "execution-style."
Monday morning, a jury found Walter Eddings and Charles Robinson guilty. Both men were convicted of several charges, including first-degree murder and armed robbery. Three other co-defendants pled guilty to the crime and told investigators that it was Robinson who was the mastermind behind the robbery. Eddings and Robinson are scheduled to be sentenced in the coming weeks, and they are both facing life in prison.
