EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- Las Cruces Utilities (LCU) will temporarily close for business on Thursday for departmental safety and team building event. the City of Las Cruces announced in a news release.

The temporary closure will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 30 at all LCU offices: • City Hall location, 700 N. Main St. • East Mesa location, 5195 Bataan Memorial West #2 • LCU Office Center, 680 N. Motel Blvd.

The temporary closure will also take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the same day at the following location: • Green Waste, Compost, and Clean Fill services, 555 S. Sonoma Ranch Blvd. (services will resume from 2 - 4 p.m.)
