CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Just days after Charlotte leaders announced a refresh to the city’s central business district, the City Council approved a plan that will bring 30 digital touch-screen kiosks to the Queen City.
The kiosks will provide maps, public information, and free Wi-Fi. They will be situated throughout Charlotte in several neighborhoods with a focus on South End, SouthPark and University City.
Councilmember Malcolm Graham told Queen City News the addition will only add to efforts to improve public safety.
