Police are investigating the mysterious death of an unidentified woman found on a Harlem sidewalk Monday evening, cops said.

MTA officers alerted the NYPD about a woman unconscious and unresponsive, lying on the sidewalk around 6:33 p.m. near East 124 St. and Park Ave. The woman was found in a plastic bag, according to ABC7 .

EMS pronounced the woman dead at the scene.

Police were working to identify her, and the Chief Medical Examiner’s office was investigating the cause of death.
