SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WMBD) -- WMBD took home three downstate Silver Dome awards at the DoubleTree Abraham Lincoln Hotel in Springfield on Monday.

WMBD won 2025 Station of the Year for a medium TV market, Patrick Cunningham won Best TV Sportscaster and our Honoring Black History story won for best multicultural reach.

The Downstate Silver Domes were awarded by the Illinois Broadcasted Association.
