Vladdy has made that throw before

Did that Vladimir Guerrero Jr. throw to end the sixth look familiar to you? That’s because it’s happened before, almost identically.

Back on Sept. 9, in the top of the 10th inning, the Houston Astros had Jose Altuve on second base. Victor Caratini grounded a ball to Vladdy, who scooped the ball — and threw over to third, instead of taking the easy out at first. And Altuve was out by 10 feet.

The Jays ended up winning that game, 4-3, in the bottom of the 10th.
