ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) - With a meeting of the Rochester City School District's Board of Education planned for Thursday, many educators and district employees plan to share personal experiences of how ongoing payroll issues have impacted their lives and families.

Employees of RCSD first began reporting pay and benefits discrepancies in July, when the district switched its payroll processor to a company called "Oracle". Officials with the Rochester Teachers' Association say the issues have been wide-ranging, with some district employees having resorted to setting up Go-Fund-Me pages and depending on food drives to get by.

Maria Gonzalez, a bilingual school psychologist with RCSD, says that in her 26 years of employment with the district, she's never experienced anything like this.
