The weather in Uttar Pradesh took a turn again on Monday, with overcast skies dominating most parts of the state. The cloudy conditions have brought down night temperatures and now daytime temperatures are also expected to dip from Tuesday onwards. The changing weather is being linked to a cyclonic storm forming over the Bay of Bengal , which could cause rainfall in several districts.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the cyclonic storm Montha in the Bay of Bengal and a low-pressure system over the Arabian Sea are jointly affecting Uttar Pradesh’s weather. These systems have led to cloud cover across the state, with light rain and drizzle reported in some districts.
