A hockey fan in Pittsburgh is being hospitalized after taking a terrifying tumble from the upper concourse down into the lower bowl at PPG Paints Arena.

The incident happened in the first period around 7:10-7:15 p.m. just after Anthony Mantha scored the Penguins’ second goal of the game against the Blues on Sunday night, according to multiple reports.

The Penguins confirmed in a statement that the incident had taken place and said the male fan was “immediately attended to by Pittsburgh EMS as well as PPG Paints Arena personnel and has since been transported to a local hospital.”

The Penguins said they are “closely monitoring the situation” and that their “concerns remain with the individual and his family at this time.”
