SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Fussy eaters and spit-up on your shirt are expected when you become a parent.
What can be difficult is trying to interpret when those subtle symptoms are a sign of something more serious.
In tonight’s Avera Medical Minute, we introduce you to a Sioux Falls woman who thanks her mother’s intuition for helping identify a rather unique condition in her son.
Like most three-year-olds, Conrad Gaspar is always on the go.
“Conrad is a very energetic kid, and we like to say he’s kind of a bull in a China shop. He is loving is what I would say is the biggest thing about Conrad, he loves big,” said Gaspar.
His big personality is pretty clearly seen, but his mom, Laura, started noticing there were a few other things about Conrad that just didn’t seem right.
