The salmon always know where to return, so a new sign in Silverdale is going to help the humans figure it out.

Strawberry Creek, one of Kitsap's many salmon-rearing streams, dumps into Dyes Inlet near its northernmost end, west of the much more recognizable Clear Creek. Where Clear Creek has a Kitsap County park at its mouth, an expansive wetland and a few miles of trail meandering alongside with wooden bridges spanning it at points, Strawberry Creek is crossed by pedestrians for a different reason: much of the creek runs through culverts under the asphalt of Old Town Silverdale and Silverdale Way.
