NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The North Charleston Police Department will hold a Tuesday evening town hall to provide residents with insights into policing procedures during incidents and service calls.

Police officials said community members will have an opportunity to engage with local leaders and ask questions about issues that affect the community.

Harve Jacobs, the agency’s public information officer, said officers will conduct a live reenactment during the event, which he explained as a unique effort to improve community understanding and engagement.

That reenactment will demonstrate appropriate and safe ways for citizens to conduct themselves during interactions with law enforcement.
