It’s going to be a bit rainy for Halloween this year.
The forecast for central Pennsylvania calls for rain this week, sustained across several days, according to the National Weather Service .
Rain is expected to begin on Wednesday afternoon and evening this week, with showers continuing until Thursday.
And, as many neighborhoods hold their trick-or-treat nights on Oct. 30, that might mean making some rain-based adjustments to the kids’ Halloween costumes.
“Thursday night, it’s going to be a wet one,“ said John Bowen, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in State College. ”You can expect it to be that steady kind of light rain Thursday night, with cooler highs — on Thursday things are only expected, in the region, to get into the mid-to-upper 50s.”
Things will also cool
