Halloween is just days away, with Oct. 31 landing on a rare Friday evening this year. Trick-or-treaters are even more in luck; the weather is expected to be clear with no wind advisories as of Tuesday's forecast.

Though not freezing, temperatures are expected to dip into the 40s in both Reno and Tahoe, so all the ghosts and ghouls may need to wear a jacket over their costume.

People trick-or-treating earlier in the day are expected to have a warmer time, with daytime Halloween temperatures reaching the low 70s in both Reno and near the lake in Tahoe. In higher elevations, the temperatures are expected to reach a high in the low 60s.
