Much of Colorado could see warmer temperatures than normal and equal chances of average precipitation over the heart of the winter season, according to the latest National Weather Service Climate Prediction Center long-range outlook.
The 90-day outlook issued Oct. 16 for November through January calls for a 40% to 50% chance of warmer than normal temperatures for a wide swath of Colorado, with a wedge of the northeastern part of the state forecast for a 33% to 40% chance of warmer temperatures and a wedge in southwestern Colorado with a 50% to 60% chance.
