TREUTLEN COUNTY, Ga. — Two tractor-trailer crashes are causing delays on Interstate 16 westbound, causing impacts in Treutlen and Laurens Counties, according to Georgia Department of Transportation's 511 website.
The site shows that the crash happened at around 5:16 a.m. Tuesday morning.
It happened near the border of Treutlen and Laurens Counties at State Route 29.
Videos shared with 13WMAZ show emergency responders on the scene. Two massive tow trucks were dispatched to help clear the roadway of the crash.
One tractor-trailer appeared to have jackknifed while another tractor-trailer was laying on its side.
According to 511, they don't expect the crash to be fully resolved until 9 a.m., but they show that lanes have been reopened to allow traffic to flow again. The left lane remain
