CINCINNATI, Ohio — The Bengals have been as bad as any team in the NFL this season if not the worst.

But on Sunday, Cincinnati’s defense may have hit rock bottom after giving up 23 points in the fourth quarter of its shocking 39-38 loss to the previously winless Jets.

The Bengals now rank last in the NFL in scoring defense (31.6 points per game), worse than last season when they allowed 25.5 ppg and ranked 25th.
