AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – Wes Reeves, Friends of A.J. Swope board member, joined Today in Amarillo on Tuesday morning to discuss the Texas Panhandle First Responders' Memorial Campaign.

The Texas Panhandle First Responders Memorial is a project brought forward by Friends of A.J. Swope, a local non-profit that works to honor those who’ve made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

Reeves said that they hope to raise $1 million by Oct. 28, which is National First Responders Day.
